Min vän Rolands insamling till cancerfonden har nu nått målet på 50000 kr och den är nu avslutad. Däremot har Kenneth en insamling till Barncancerfonden som jag gärna vill att ni stödjer! I now know that the cancer is gone! I have been to the doctor and the result of all the exams is good!

Idag har jag fått reda på att cancern är borta! Jag var på läkarbesök och resultatet av alla kontroller är gott.

PETscan

On the 18th of June I did the PETscan. It is a sort of computer scan, but with radioactivity in the contrast fluid. It is only this type of exam that can decisively tell if the cancer has disappeared or not, the computer scan is not enough. I did this kind of exam before the treatments as well, so there is material for comparison. 6 hours before the exam I was not allowed to eat, and the exam in itself took 3 hours, after that I was hungry... The hair is still growing and I feel fine. I am generally stiff in my body, and it feels like it is worse now than during the cure. I am still pretty tired, it is obvious that it takes some time to get back in shape.

PET

Il 18 di giugno ho fatto il PETscan. É un tipo di TAC ma con radioattivitá. É soltanto questo esame che può dire se il cancro sia sparito o no, il TAC non basta. Ho fatto questo esame anche prima delle cure, quindi c'é material per vedere la differenza prima e dopo le cure. 6 ore prima dell'esame non ho potuto mangiare, e l'esame durava 3 ore, poi avevo fame... I cappelli continuano di crescere e sto bene. Sono ancora stanca, si vede che é lunga prima di riprendersi totalmente.

Petkameran

Den 18 juni var det återigen dags för PETskannern. Det är en typ av datortomografi, fast med radioaktivitet som kontrastvätska i kroppen. Det är enbart den här undersökningen som kan avgöra om cancern är borta eller ej, en vanlig datortomografi räcker inte. Jag gjorde en sån här undersökning innan behandlingen startade också, så det finns jämförelsematerial. 6 timmar innan undersökningen fick jag inte äta någonting och undersökningen tog 3 timmar, sen var jag hungrig... Håret fortsätter växa, och jag mår bra. Jag tycker dock att jag är stel i lederna, stelare än under behandlingen. Fortfarande är jag också rejält trött, det märks att återhämtningen tar tid.

On June the 16th I had a moving-out party for the cancer. And we sure did party! Thank you everybody who participated and thank you to my mother for lending me the house and for all the help! Pictures are found under pictures in the menu to the left.

Festa!

Il 16 di giugnio ho fatto una festa di trasloco per il cancro. E ne abbiamo festeggiato bene! Grazie a tutti voi che avete parteciapato e grazie alla mia mamma che ho potuto usare la tua casa e dell'aiuto! Foto ci sono sotto pictures nel menu di sinistra.
